Chú Mó represents a unique fusion of a physical "mini theme park" and the immersive elements of an escape room combined with video games. Originating from a 9-month project, it was conceived, pitched, and constructed entirely from the ground up. Despite facing a significant reset during the 11th week, the project ultimately reached a stage where its potential became apparent.

Dedicated months followed, focusing on intensive playtesting and refining both game mechanics and visual elements. This phase demanded an immense investment of time and physical effort. Following meticulous polishing, the Chú Mó team submitted the creation to IndieCade 2023. Subsequently, the project not only received a nomination but also secured the prestigious title of the Best Live Action Game at IndieCade in 2023, GDC Alt.Ctrl.Award at Independent Games Festival in 2024. This recognition afforded the team the opportunity to showcase Chú Mó in prominent venues, including DTLA (Downtown Los Angeles), Riot Games and ArtCenter's ENTX.
